Dandruff re-coloring

whenever i get bored, i just scratch me head to see how much dandruff i can get to fall out my head and see how large of an area i can cover with dandruff. is this normal?

  • I love doing this too. It's been a hobby of mine for 10 years now. It's just one small dry patch on my head. Been to the docs for years but nothing makes it go away. I love scratching my boyfriends dandruff off too. He lets me do it every few days. I love getting the big flakes.

  • I do that.. But with split ends after I pull them out.
    You should probably get rid of the dandruff though, as I should make my split ends better. :|

    oh my gosh...I can't believe this..I used to do that all the time when I was a little girl and always thought i was such a weirdo doing it. people would always ask me why the hell i did it. havent done it in years.....while not very common i still say its normal.

    I have recently had this compulsion too! I'm only dealing with dandruff/extremely dry scalp at my forehead area but when I scratch it all the dead skin comes off. I try not to do it because, while it's nice to look at it under your nails, you're just gonna end up getting pissed off when you look in the mirror and see all the floating white flakes. Good luck on getting rid of it.
