Curious about the line between sex and massage

I just came from a massage at a local salon. The massage was great! I have had several massages from this therapist, but this is the first in about 3 years. I do not believe she recognized me. None the less her method of massage is different and leaves me rather exposed when given. What does it mean if anything when you are given a massage and you are exposed, (not covered by the modesty blankets) for the majority of the massage, and what parts are off limits?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Depends how and why. Did she get your consent to be exposed?
    Where did she massage?
    Why did she massage there?

Breast massage is normal assuming consent.
If you have pelvic floor spasms, massage near the genetalia may even be appropriate (assuming you consented to it)

If she just threw the sheets off you and started massaging your breasts, rectum, vulva, etc without asking, that may be inappropriate, but if you are comfortable with it, then no prob

  • I hear that butt massages are REASONABLY common, but genitals are definitely too far. Also I'd hazard a guess that very few women at massage centers actually WANT to give a "happy ending"

  • I meet a lot of men with stressed penises. You'd think it was an epidemic.

  • If she's massaging your genitals, then that's kind of sex. My muscles have knotted up through stress, the same as anyone else, but I don't think I've ever had a stressed penis.

Although I can see that massaging that area might be fairly successful at stress relief in general.
