Crush on gay friend

I'm a guy and for some reason i have developed a crush on my best friend who is gay. He came out recently and ever since I'm attracted to him. I'm straight or at least i think i am, I'm not attracted to any other guy. We have so much in common and I'm happy around him. I don't know whats going on here, is this normal. Is this just a man crush, a teen phase or what?

    I don't care if it's a boy or girl. Anyone who makes you feel this way is worth a try. We live in a time when people can openly and willingly pursue a relationship with someone of the same sex without much oppression. Don't be afraid to be who you are.

    I couldn't agree more with the post above. Maybe you're not attracted to men in general but you are still attracted to this guy. And if he makes you happy, why be afraid? I wish you the best!
