when your hand aches its so satisfying to crack it and the ache goes away
I crack a lot of things throughout the day. My fingers especially, and also my neck and I do a very intricate, delicate stretch to crack both sides of my lower back.
It feels really good, I loosen up and feel more like "aware" if that makes sense.
I also stretch other parts of my body like arms and shoulders, legs and hips. Ooh, if I can pop my hip bones that feels *really* good.
I like learning and feeling my body, although I used to not so I understand where those people come from
I crack/pop my fingers, elbows, ankles, knees, and sometimes toes. It's normal buildup of gases and synovial fluid, and will occur (the cracking) whether you do it on purpose or not. Some people crack or pop their neck, but I don't.
Like the first response said, though..Be aware of people who hate it and will tell you about it. Not that it's any of their business, however, if it was you who were annoyed at it and someone else did it, you'd tell them, too.
Yes it is normal. It is also normal for people to become annoyed with people who seem to constantly do it as well. If you are going to do that please remember their are people who dislike hearing the slow, crack, pop, crack, snap, of each and every fucking joint multiple times a day.
