      What's your suggestion? Should he continue to run out of control, wind up on meds and eventually turn to a life of drugs when the world doesn't tolerate his out of control behavior?

        Wow. That's a nice measured response and also are you a fucking fortune teller?

        Granted the kid sounds like a little turd, but hitting him? And how the bloody hell do you know that because of his behaviour he's going to wind up on meds and then turn to a life of drugs? Geez.

        OP could just say no and keep saying no until the kid gets the message and I don't believe giving a small child a belting would prevent any of the consequences you've listed. It would however teach him that it's OK to physically assault someone smaller and less powerful.

          Well, this kid has obviously been taught that "no" is meaningless, having suffered no consequences. They might get away with just giving him the stick, instead of a belting, but he needs some consequence. A poo flavored jelly bean is silly.

          This kid needs to shape up and get his act together or he will be in for a very rough life.

          Better to get a belting from Uncle Bob, than get his ass beat to hell on the playground, when he takes the wrong kids nutter butter.
