The scenario is that you have found out your boy/girlfriend is attracted to children, but they have yet to act on these desires, and said they have no intention to.
I would get them professional help. If they however was the type of person who thought this kind of thing was funny and bragged about it I would report them. Sadly they cant do anything unless they commit the crime but I find bragging about crime very annoying. I might just beat the fuck out of them for the bloody fun of it.
