Could i be pregnant even though we used protection and it did not tear

Please no smartass answers. We were smart and used protection. Instead of patronizing me, instead talk to the idiots not using protection.

Last Sunday, I hooked up with one of my good friends. Apparently it was 2 days before my fertile days began. Before any contact, he put on a condom and we made sure it was on correctly. Immediately after he came, he carefully took it off, we made sure there were no leaks or holes.

But I don't know if its just PMS, but my boobs have been sore for a few days. I've had a little discharge that looks like white flakes in the toilet.
Today after a bowel movement, I noticed I had some bloody vaginal discharge. Could it just be from straining? After that it was gone. I've had some consistent slight cramping like my period might be coming. Other than that, I haven't had any other symptoms. No nausea, no smells bothering me.

If its my period, it will be almost 2 weeks soon. If there were no breaks, slips, or holes, how else could someone get pregnant using a condom? I've read so many forums where women (who can barely spell) saying "YEH U CAN GET PEREGNENT USIN COMDEMS DATS HOW I GOT MY 3 KIDS" and its really scary and infuriating. I got really scared today and texted him and he reassured me there was nothing to worry about. The condoms we used were lifestyles with spermicidal stuff on them.

Its just not fair I guess. Every other horseface skank in this town can have all the sex they want (protected or not) and never have to worry about it, but since this is only the second time I've done it (responsibly and carefully) im the one that has to worry and I'm the one that's probably pregnant. I'm just really kind of bitter about it. If I make it out of this alive, I'm looking into birth control and other methods of contraceptive. I'm 22 (not 12) so it would be great if I could get some insight from knowledgeable people (instead of people who have no idea what they're talking about and can't spell). Is this all in my head?is it really this easy to get pregnant?

Is It Normal?

  • Use a pregnancy test find out for reals yo.

  • You'd have to be pretty unlucky. There are tests you can do that are effective very early - like around when your period is due. If you're anxious, it might be worth doing a test.

  • Next time get yourself a little something called Plan B and just take it the morning after.

It's not normal to have a horse face, consult a doctor about that.

    • Plan B is not for regular use like that. It's for emergency contraception. I don't imagine its cheap, either.

      • This seems like an emergency to me. Poor girl is freaked out and obviously not ready for this gigantic commitment.

        • The way you said it, it sounds like you're saying she should use it every time she has sex, just in case.

Plan B is high dosage contraceptive pill. Taking it frequently may be dangerous to health. It's made for emergencies, like condoms breaking, forgetting a pill or getting diarrhoea or vomitting while on the pill. Anxiety about being pregnant is not an emergency situation. It's distressing, yes, but not what emergency means. Once this anxiety sets in, creating the "emergency" situation, it's probably (or definitely, in this situation) too late for Plan B.

Now just regular contraception, that would be different.

          • I didn't mean to make it sound like she must use it every time. English is not my first language and what I wrote made sense to me in that moment but, now that I reread it with the knowledge of you telling me what you just told me, I can see how it came across as that.

            • I honestly wouldn't have guessed it wasn't your first language. Your English is better than most on here.

I just wanted to clarify, not for the OP who probably knows all this, but for anyone else reading it who may not know.

  • No contraception is 100% effective. So it may be possible you can be pregnant. Take a test if you haven't already and if so, see the guy for options.

There is the Plan B pill that you can take right after sex whether you used contraception or not. I believe its over the counter now.
