I’ve always like conifer trees better.
I think they’re more attractive except in the autumn. They’re not pussies, their needles can handle winter, they grow in almost all climate regions, they provide more privacy, they smell better (generally,) they’re taller, more mysterious, and overall better.
Oh! Blue Sprices and Red Firs are the best trees!

I too am a conifer fan.
Check out Pinus Banksiana Uncle Fogy. It's an interesting type of pine.
I wish I would live in the Woodlands in the Houston area. Lots of pine trees.
deciduous is better to burn in a woodstove and superior for furniture
also easier to process once felled cause there aint a billion tiny branches
I agree Conifer are much more attractive. I do like autumn, but I like cool colors more, and as with you I love Blue Spruce; it’s color always reminded me the blue Gatorade. I think Conifer have more attractive branches than Decidious trees. And I also love the way they small.
But, if you live in dry climate (California much) Conifer are basically a match after a dry spell. Plus they don’t give us any food.
