Confused?

My school had a dance a few days ago. I am usually pretty shy around guys, but got the nerve to ask the guy i like to dance. He joked around, pretending to think about it, than said yes. so we went to dance (grinding). It was nice, but we didnt really connect. After we had danced for two songs, he suggested we go look for our friends. Which was fine, but then he just kind of left me there. He's super outgoing, but not around girls. im pretty sure im the only girl he danced with that night. We didnt really talk much after that, or at least i didnt, he joked around a little but didnt really hang out with our group much after that. What the hell do i take away from that? is that normal behavior? Also, im pretty sure we both werentthat great of dancers so he couldve been embarrased too.

I don't think it's the dancing which was an issue, so much as your (and maybe his) apparent insecurity.

It seems so much that you feel not good enough for him, when such sensitivity, I'm sure, is something he, also, notices.

Maybe he is the guy for you, and maybe he isn't. You know that already, so don't get hung up on it too much. Great if it works out, but life goes if it doesn't.

You seem like a great person. Sensitive and caring. Someone will see.

He's probably just shy. You have to be the judge yourself, but it's not too unusual for him to chicken out.
