It's obviously impossible for me to know what your work environment is like in terms of the boundaries between the personal and professional. Large, corporate organisations usually have firm rules which require employees to maintain some distance, but in a small team where a few people work closely together for lengthy periods, it can be almost impossible not to get involved at a personal level, and banter and good-natured teasing is often part of that.

What your boss did seems a little odd to me and it is definitely over the line into personal contact (even if momentary and painful). It's possible the main reason she did it is because she knew you'd be embarrassed by her pointing out something that indicates you're getting older. That's not very professional of her, but maybe that's not too different from how you and your colleagues and your boss often are with each other, and you all regularly comment on each other's appearance in a joking way.

IIN being the sort of place it is, I suppose I should say that I think you should be very careful about leaping to the conclusion that this incident means she's sexually interested in you. If she was consciously thinking of that, then I suspect she would have made some comment in private to you about her noticing the white hair. The fact that she did notice it means that she must be studying you pretty closely. That can be a signal of sexual interest, but maybe she's just one of those people who looks at everyone closely.

Was she just being goofy? Sounds like she was just joking but I dont have the context to know for sure

If he pulled out a girls grey hair and taped it to his desk? It'd still be weird but not that big of a deal in my book. If you reported it to anyone they'd say "wait... what happened? He did what?... a hair?"

Its not sexual. Imagine if a man pulled a hair from a woman and then put it in a jar and kept it on his desk. Would he just be some guy being stupid? Not in the world im living in, unfortunately. Maybe 40 years ago in a small business in a small town but today when you cant say this or look at that.......

its call assault, as you did not ask for her to touch you, I bet if you pulled her hair out you would more than likely be looking for a new job.

I'm getting creepy vibes from this story, even though 'vibes' from a story are always second-hand because you can't see it with your own eyes...

That being said, objectively speaking, I've never heard of anyone taking another person's hair, photographing it and keeping it - except doting mothers at their toddlers' first haircut, or mourners keeping a lock of hair from a deceased loved one, or loving couples about to be separated for long periods, or heartbroken unrequited lovers in their grief-crazed obsessions.

Or rapist serial killers with hair fetishes.

Whatever the case may be, unless (as Boojum suggested) it's a VERY informal workplace and these kind of shenanigans happen all the time and between just about everyone, I think you'd probably better cut your losses and nope out of there.
