There were several religious or religiously based events on this day, but none of them had much to do with Jesus of Nazareth, except that some of them might have believed in his teachings, but that these would have already been twisted and corrupted.
It is a conspiracy by some corporations to make people spend money on sometimes useless items and products that are often detrimental to a persons health and / or the health of the planet.
It is also a conspiracy by some religious organizations to make people believe in things that are simply not true.
Do you actually believe that Jesus of Nazareth will rise from the dead, and will assume the throne as King of the Roman Province of Judaea, smeared in oil? Because that is what you just said.
