Career for someone who's extremely worried and paranoid?

That is my most defining characteristic. Which career path should I take?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I've found paranoia can be useful for research/investigation type things. You get to review all evidence and look at details from every angle before coming to a conclusion. Also it's good being able to work alone.

  • I don't think this should guide you in a career. This sounds like a flaw, not a quality an employer looks for. Instead, I suggest looking for something that fits your qualities and somehow takes care of this flaw, like something very safe (working in an office or remotely) with little risks.
