I say take it slow. I know plenty of girls who are looking to date and with technology, dating is at your finger tips, literally. Over 20 percent of relationships start online now which is predicted to jump to 40+ percent within 2-3 years. Imagine how many friends hook up after a few facebook conversations, a couple of I.M's or a phone call that leads to hanging out. I am a gamer-girl, and I see girls hooking up with guys all the time online and the best thing about it is it doesn't matter what your schedule is the net is never down someone is always on... However before you go sign up at zoosk, or whatever singles site there is be sure to understand how to Net-date safely (you don't want the "Killer Kung-fu Wolf B!tch")
