Let's not be so hasty, bob7. My father hated me and wanted me to become unsuccessful, as I grew older and better than him. The better I became at a subject or in a domain, the more aggressive he became against me, ruining my entire progress and forcing me to start studying something else and move in another class so I must start from 0 and be the worst student there. He had a pleasure of seeing me suffering, and my mom was also nagging as fuck with no actual interest or happiness in my success, but not so toxic. Parents are not always loving and caring, as in your imagination, so stop insulting people unless you really know what you're saying.
