I rarely eat anything sweet, but icecream is my weakness so I try not to buy it. I do put real sugar in my coffee and that usually suffices to give me my fix.

oohh, tried Reese's Peanut Butter Cups the other day Boojum, for the first time, and ate the whole packet. It was a very hot day and the chocolate had melted, which is the way I like it. Love all sweet, rich food unfortunately. Lordofopinions is correct about cancer feeding off sugar, but I think I would rather indulge and take an early exit than give it up.

I don't eat much candy as I used to because I'm diabetic which for me is torture because I have a big sweet tooth :(

  • I very rarely eat candies, with maybe a month or more in between. The sheer amount of sticky sugar they slather my teeth with is enough to scare me away.

However, I eat moderately sweetened baked goods or cereals like 1-2 a day, or once every 2 days.

I have type 2 diabetes but that has not slowed my sugar intake.
Let's see - about 5 cans of soda a day, about three regular size candy bars, a glass of chocolate milk,

Well that is typical in a day. This doesn't include whatever sugar is in other foods like pizza or ketchup with my fries etcf.

I eat way too much of it. I'm trying to cut down because age 30 and up is the time when wrinkles start to form. XD

Less than monthly for actual candy, I only buy it on occasion and when I do I eat a ton of it. Excess in moderation.

I do like soft drinks, though. If you count sugar-filled sodas and juices, then it would be a few times a week.

I rarely eat sweet stuff. I use Stevie to sweeten my coffee. I do have desert sometimes if we go out for a meal. We don't have sweet stuff in the house at all.

Sugar is one of the main reasons for exploding number of cancer cases. Cancer cells must have glucose to survive and consuming lots if sweet stuff cause sugar (glucose) spikes which cancer cells love. If everyone cut out sugar, ate lots more fruits and veggies and meat (mostly poultry) the cancer industry would go broke.

Like once a day, but I limit it to about 1/4 of a chocolate bar at night.

I've had a particular weakness for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups since I was a kid more than half a century ago. Those and Welch's Grape Jelly were the only two things I missed about living in the States when I settled in Britain when I was in my late twenties.

I've got used to doing without the grape jelly, but I was ridiculously happy when Reese's appeared in supermarkets here a few years back.

Candy (sugar in general) is definitely an addiction of mine.

I'm cutting way way back now but before I ate candy and drank soda all the time.

In my early and mid 20s I would have ice cream for dinner 2-3 times a week.
