Can you tell a dog's gender from its face?

  • Okay, I'll do this quickly because I can't see the post in the list any more which usually means someone has complained about it and it's been deleted. It'll still be around for an hour or so, though, from experience.

And I'll shamelessly pin this reply to Nora's as hers was most popular on this one too.

All four dogs were female. They were picked randomly from a dog adoption site. The responses I got show that people
were able to pick out female traits in some (or all) of the dogs. Very few thought all the dogs were male.

Final note: All these dogs genuinely require homes. If you're thinking of getting a puppy, just spend a moment in considering adopting an adult dog.

    • but, but---
i was certain at least ONE of them was a dressed up cat....

ah, i SEE what you did there!

They are STILL all the same gender because it's a female cat! There's nothing about species in the answer...

      • What's weird is that after I'd stopped laughing at your comment, I went through and picked out which was which. A is scary, B is baby, C is ginger, and D is sporty.

        Good call. ;)

    • And, typically, both posts have just reappeared, side-by-side, in the list of today's stories. IIN has been toying with me again.
