Can you smell your crush more strongly than other people?

When I was younger my brother would come around a lot. His car was out of commission for a while and he would walk over to my place. I used to say to my partner at the time that my bro is gonna be here soon,10 to 15 minutes later he would arrive every time. It was his deodorant. He would put that much on I could smell him coming from streets/blocks away..

if you are obsessed with someone then yeah, they tend to set off your senses pretty easy.

And I'm a girl, if that helps. Is it really so abnormal? I can nearly always smell when my crushes are/have just been near. And then I tend to find them in person moments later just around a corner, or through a door.

Oddly I realized I always take a deep nasal breath when walking by or being passed by a handsome man, and I've noticed ,on multiple times, that I knew they were close by... I actually knew my stepdad was close by between scent and bodily reaction (I'd get moist and tingly) sadly he never picked up or acted on the subtle clues I left out...

If you mean smelling someone's natural scent - no. But if my girlfriend is wearing a deafeningly sweet perfume, I can smell her before she walks into the room.

Maybe girls do. Their sense of smell tends to be superior.
