Introverted and extroverted don't mean the same as quiet and outgoing; they're personality types not descriptions of behaviour. They aren't something you can try out; it's something you just are (or, if you identify with neither completely you could call yourself an ambivert). It can change and flow with time, but you can't force it.
Personally, I think no. Only because I myself am an introvert, and have successfully become a fake extrovert. In the end, I'm still an introvert, but I fight my nature, and to others, I appear to be an extrovert. I don't think I can ever truly change that part of me, since that's just who I am. But you know, that's just me. I can only vote from my experiences. Some people may be more capable than I am
I think so. I used to be extremely introverted, but I've been practcing coming out a little bit more. I'm still an intorvert, but I am not nearly as bad as what I used to be.
You can definitely ACT more extroverted. I think you can change how comfortable you are when you're in those situations. But someone who tends to be introverted will probably always lean that way.
Yes, I guess I could have stated it better. But you understood what I was getting at. As far as being more sociable, like can you go from shy to outgoing.
