Can you experience death in your dreams and continue in the dream?

Ughhh...these questions. Its a dream, anything can happen.

Most of the time, I wake myself up when I feel my imminent death coming up in a dream. I read somewhere it's a bad sign when you dream of your own death. Sometimes though, when I'm in a really deep sleep, I consciously try to wake myself and I cannot. I have died multiple deaths in dreams before.

I was stuck in a nightmare, I wondered for what felt like hours (in dreams there is no real sense of time lol) Anyway I shot my self to wake up. When I woke, my nose was bleeding badly. Creepy sign? hahaha

Yeah. Actually, I was having like this weird dream where I died in a car accident and then woke up in hell. Nightmare. Actually had to clear my mind kindof and think happy thoughts.
