Can y'all help motivate me to stop smoking weed every day

I need some motivation. I smoke weed every day for emotional needs. I'm outgrowing my need, I'm starting to see how it's a crutch I don't need as much. But I'm so used to the burn that I crave it and cave in and smoke. If I don't smoke sometimes I get agitated

I'm also starting to actualize some goals and stuff, and going to sleep earlier would help me quite a bit

Can anyone out there help me integrate a way to stop smoking so much, to get over the burn craving?

Is It Normal?

  • I used to smoke weed every day, sometimes all day, and cutting back to just having one smoke at the weekend was one of the best decisions I ever made for my own sanity. Some people can handle smoking every day but I guess I wasn't one of them. There's your motivation.

It takes a couple of weeks to truly get over the hump and stop craving it, and you probably want to make some bigger changes to your lifestyle so that you don't go back to smoking all the time. Basically find hobbies that you can do when you're not stoned so you don't get bored, and find a job if you don't have one already. Maybe work out a bit too - when I quit smoking I suddenly had a lot of excess energy so I started running every day to burn it off and give me a new reason not to smoke.

  • I think you should gradually smoke less, and less herb.
