Can we stop with the random feminist/liberal/sjw accusations

What's up with people randomly inserting political agendas into every argument these days?

I don't really give a shit about politics and I've actually gotten called an "SJW" multiple times for saying SJWs are stupid, simply because I said their opposite extreme is equally as stupid. It's like it's just the knee jerk insult these days along with liberal, feminist, etc.

is it normal to be annoyed by people using random buzz words as insults when they have no contextual sense

Just like if a guy treats a woman with respect he is called a "cuck" or "libtard beta."

For ur sake I would not pick this battle, people have way too much fun calling people sjw. Especially because some ppl use it for themselves unironically so people will call people it not even to namecall

People take the path of least resistance. And the easiest way to pinpoint what people stand for, is to look at one thing they said and slap a tag on them. You're right, this needs to stop. A lot of people don't want to be associated with an entire group, since you can't agree with EVERYTHING they say. And that's just fine.

It's more of a maturity problem than a political one. But I do think political correctness (in all its forms) is falling out of favor in the culture wars.

Good for free speech advocates, bad for Marxists (google that buzzword).

    • Yeah like I said I'm not really into politics at all. I'm not sure why you're getting defensive about political correctness and free speech. This is about people thinking it helps their argument to randomly insert words like "sjw/liberal/feminist" just because someone offended them. You can say it all you want I'm just saying it's (logically) incorrect and therefor annoying to me. Don't worry your rights are fine dude.

"Don't worry your rights are fine dude."

That's actually hilarious, and sadly the mindset too many past generations have had. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and censoring 'hate speech' is certainly a step in that direction.

But back to your point: if someone shouts out labels and fails to justify them, then you should definitely disregard them.

        • Ok thanks. I guess I'm just too busy enjoying life to have noticed any of the restrictions you're talking about.
