Can't understand a word if two people talk at once.

If two people talk at the same time I just can't process it. Quieter background chatter is OK tho.

Why I think it can't be normal though, for me it's so bad that if someone starts talking while I'm talking I just shut down involuntarily. I physically can't even talk if someone is talking, I have no idea why.

If a person talks over another person, my opinion of them plummets below zero, automatically. These are people who think that their words are by default more important than the words of others.
It's definitely more difficult to understand, too. And if it's more than two people at once - it is over.

Hm not sure whether to pin this as a definite for normal or not, but it sorta is.

If two noise sources are of reasonably equal volume in lieu on one being considerably louder than the other with my father for him the noises 'cancel eachother out' so to speak.

So it's not unheard of no and is prone to happeneing with some people.

Not 100% sure WHY it happens, but it does.

Very simple: Get some balls and tell one of them to shut the fuck up.
