I had an art tutor who told me this, i'm an anime fan but ya know what I found out from them?
I asked them if I put a pen on a pedestal in an art gallery and called it art would people class it as art? they said yes. Why? Because art has no set rules or boundaries. everything is an art form in some way.
Anime takes skill to draw like all art forms and unlike alot of art (In my opinion) it's actually a good one.
