Yes, you are no less deserving of love than others, but self harm, and most notably cutting does cause many people to have a sense of fear and anxiety. I haven't cut in over eleven years. I hope that you too can stop as well.

It's possible that you might be struggling with a mood or personality disorder. Cutting is specifically quite common among sufferers of BPD also know as EID. A type of cognitive behavioral therapy known as DBT is especially helpful as is Mindfulness Meditation.
