I was leaving the Dunkin Donuts when the guy in front of me reached back to hold the door open. No problem, I say but then a second guy, coming in, reaches back to also hold the door open. This second guy is now blocking my way.

Is it normal to want to shout at these people, "I am not 92 years old! I appreciate the effort but just keep walking you morons, what is wrong with you?"

    As I've said a number of times already, people are ignoring the situation. I'm not against people holding the door open, it's when people do it without thinking.

    It's the same thing as when you're 50 feet away from the door and somebody holds it open. You have to sprint to the door to not appear rude.

    lol i feel the same way, i hate when people make a huge fuss over holding a door for someone!!!! so unnecessary. normal.

      Thanks, most people didn't seem to get that I was pissed off about the second part where the other guy blocks my way.

      I really don't mind people holding the door, it's just when they get all weird about it and then end up blocking my way. It's just not that big of a deal to let the door go.
