Can confidence make you more attractive?

If you got an ugly face, can being relaxed and confident and having a more relaxed and confident facial expression still make you a notch less ugly on the attractiveness scale? I know that some of you may answer "depends how ugly", so what I'm asking is can the confidence bring you up a point no matter how ugly you are? Like from sorta cute to quite cute, or slightly below average to average, or ugly to semi ugly, or very hideously repulsive to just sort of hideously repulsive?

    Yeah I'm the weirdest mother fucker ever. But, I appreciate my quirkiness, so I feel a lot better with myself. When you're confident, it doesn't matter what other people think. It only matters that you feel good about yourself.

    Confidence is sexy, maybe that's why I wanted my old boss so bad. He wasn't even my type but he had an affect on me that I still don't understand. Anyways yes confidence is attractive

    Mmm, sometimes. For example if you’re ugly and overly confident it makes you look weird. Some would think “Man do they know that they’re that ugly?”
    But if you’re just being regularly confident I would say yes. It makes you look like you’re not afraid.

    Yes, at least to those who aren't completely shallow. People who constantly bring up how ugly they are just seem really self-centered, almost as bad as if you were to be constantly mentioning how good you look.

        People will focus in on your confidence. If it’s a commanding confidence (like in leadership), people won’t care about your looks. Confidence is a very attractive quality to most ppl, making looks proportionately less important.

    I'm attracted to people's weaknesses and insecurities, so confidence would make them more repulsive.

    Don't be too confident or cocky, that's annoying even if you're not ugly, even more so if you are cause people would say "what gives HIM the right to be like that!?". On the other hand, don't seep with insecurity because that magnifies ugliness. Just find that happy medium.

    Yes confidence is great but only unless it makes you an arrogant asshole who doesn’t even care that your girlfriend is depressed and needs some extra love and support. Don’t leave her because she’s not perfect like your high standard ass............... dick head.

    I think it would help to have a relaxed facial expression and calm demeanor, but also whether or not a person is ugly is an entirely subjective matter.
