Can chemicals make your body do this?

I got some brilliant new cloths from my mother in law, it was imported from London. I know you should always wash your now cloths before you wear them, especialy imported clothing and clothing that hassn't seen air before (if you understand what i mean) but i didn't. (stupid me, yes i know) I used it the day after i got it and i started to feel sick, i didn't get why untill three days later, where i took off the clothing (she gave me three diffrent shirts, i had worn a diffrent one every day) and i took a shower and when i came out i felt fine, as son as i took the clohting near my face again i felt sick again. Well i washed it and the poroblem was over, but now a week alter my menstruation (periode, girl problem, what ever you call it) should have begon for four days ago. The chance that i should be pregnant i 1%% or so, and i have all the symptoms of PMS (Pre Menstrual Syndrom) but i still don't bleed. I wondered if anyone knew if the chemicals in the clothing could have had an influence on this? Could it be because of that?
My mother said that its very possible but i'de like to hear if anyone knew anything about it.

To sum up; Can Chemicals in clothing make your manstruation go weird?

um my period is never on a scheduled time. i don't know what it means to be thrown off schedule but it probably isn't as severe as it seems to you. you should probably check it out though if just to ease your worrying.

It's unlikely as far as I know. You are only four days late so it isn't anything to be concerned about. A late period can be caused by many things so don't worry too much :)

forget the gyno you need to go to the ER that is a reaction to Dinitro-pamanginate a highly toxic chemical that is used in cloths dyes. If you dont get to ER ASAP and take the cloths with you wrapped in sevral bags and boxed, you risk much more serious symptoms, Cardio Vascular Colapse, Pulminary Embolisem, Cranial Hemotoma or worse then that eaven.

I've never heard of that kind of correlation but you should go to a gyno if these symptoms persist. It is not normal.
