Thanks for the info. I found it really helpful. And the part about my mom scaring herself into quitting is a bit tragic, so that's why I left it out of the main article. What she says happened was she was practicing tarot cards with her best friend to demonstrate her newfound skills, and she accidentally pulled the death card while reading her bff. A few weeks later her bff randomly died of "unknown causes". My mom was never charged of anything as there was no physical links to make her a suspect. But she still blames herself for it.
