I can't take any credit for that, it didn't even cross my mind!! I'm mad at myself for not thinking of it actually, especially since I have thought about the Molester character since I was like 10. It has inspired me to make up a little cartoon though.
I can't decide if he should be a misunderstood superhero or a villain. If he was a superhero, who could his nemesis be? Or conversely, if a villain, who would be his pursuer? This sounds like a lot of fun.
I'd vote for a charismatic anti-hero.
The type that does all the wrong things for the wrong reasons, but ultimately saves the day.
In that respect, the molester could be hero AND villain...a bit like the original setting of "batman" as a vigilante that is beyond the law and only has one police guy as contact, but otherwise has to avoid the legal system as much as the people he hunts...Now, the molester, i can see REALLY having to avoid the legal system, but after what happened to him, who can blame him for drinking and giving in to his urges?
But in the end, he'll save the day! For certain, because deep down he's a good guy who wants everything to be right.
