Caitlyn jenner - opinions

IIN

Just wondering about your opinion(s) on Bruce Jenner's transition into Caitlyn Jenner, if you've heard of it yet.

Obviously, she definitely isn't the first transgender, but she's the first that has gotten this kind of publicity.

Yeah I support this, it is her life and I'm glad she feels more comfortable with who she is now, there was someone in was on a course with once who identified as a woman, I was the only one who knew for a large portion of the course and I saw what a struggle it was to constantly hide who you are and the fear of discrimination that could face you after revealing how you feel

    But

Why is it newsworthy? I'm conflicted about how I feel towards the publicity, I feel like it's strange that in 2015 someone being transgender is seen as newsworthy, just like how when a celebrity says they're gay twitter explodes and news reporters practically jump up and down with excitement at getting the story, I guess I find it strange because to me someone's sexual identity isn't a big deal and I guess I find it slightly discomforting that it is to so many other people

But on the other hand I wonder if this kind coverage will give other people hiding their true feelings some comfort and self assurance

All I know is he might look like a girl, but when it comes down to it, who is having sex with him when they go down stairs, it's not a vagina. It doesn't act like one and certainly doesn't smell like one.

Have you ever smelled one?? It's a very serious question.

  • Through my job, I'm privy to unbiased and impartial research. I have to purchase the research using government funds. What I've seen says this "Those that identify with genders opposite of their biologically assigned gender, find life difficult. What has yet to be observed through gender reassignment is fulfillment in life. Research into reassignment shows a 70-80% rejection of reassigned gender. Resulting in a further commitment to the mental health field"

Unbiased and impartial. Cost my state $3000. And I spent that money.

I have absolutely NO opinion. I don't know her personally, and neither do any of you. We shouldn't be making judgements about some shit none of us have anything to do with. It's his life, his decision, and we should keep our noses and opinions out of it. Why don't you all focus on ur kids or homework or something important like REAL news?

    • Judgement? It's human nature to have an opinion. Regardless if you deny it, you have one too. An opinion can be indifference.

There's no harm in discussion. If anything, discussion gives communication and new ideas. Is the Jenner topic too exploited? Yes. But while you sit here typing about it, you're in the same place as the rest of us. Neither of us focusing on what you personally consider "REAL" news.

That guy spent so much time among cunts, he decided to become one. Pretty much every male in that family is an emotional wreck. Understandable, because it has to be pretty emasculating for them to see how the female members of the family get all the attention and success. The fact that most of them are nigger lovers doesn't help either. It wouldn't surprise me if Bru... I mean Caitlyn becomes a nigger lover too after he/she becomes a "woman".

Regardless what Bruce looks like or even if he gets his penis snipped off, he is still a man. DNA said so. Even his own mother said that he is still Bruce. You can't change biology and genetics with a wish and a scaplel. I can say I am a giraffe all day long but that does not make it so. This is just another way for the Jenner / Kardashian clan to rake in more "Reality TV" millions. He said he wants to be a woman so why not make it pay.

Oh gee daydreamer I didn't know you were transgender. Did I step on your petticoat? Or perhaps a close family member is part of the LBGTXYZ set? Just because I don't agree with people who think they can change nature through medicine, does not make me ignorant. It make me opinionated. There is a difference. Perhaps since you don't know the difference between the two you should Google the words to get the proper definitions. People like you who can't tell the difference are the ignorant ones.

I have to say I agree with you. You know I've wanted to be a horse at times. So if I were to get surgery done to look like a horse and I lived outside just like horses do and if I acted like a horse would I then be considered a horse or just someone who went too far with playing make believe? (I mean, if I'd be considered a horse then that would be great. I wouldn't need to get a job, or pay bills, I could poop wherever I wanted and I wouldn't have to wear clothes or worry about jury duty!)

I find it strange how people seem to think just because you change the way you act and the way you look then you change your genetic makeup. And if you say one thing against it people are quick to insult and name you the most evilest person ever. What you are born as is what you are. If you are a guy, you are a guy, if you are a girl you are a girl.

If you wanna look like and act like a girl when you are a guy and vice versa, go for it. It's your life and I frankly don't care but to actually believe that getting a surgery will make you into something you aren't is logic that I just can't comprehend.

As far as this bruce character goes, I don't support him and I don't unsupport him because again, I don't care.

I think some people think too much about things that don't concern them in any way, and by 'think' I mean ruminate angrily about. Stories like these don't faze me, and they shouldn't have the power to turn heads. There's nothing to it. A former biological man is now the gender he's always really been, inside and out. There's nothing to talk about. When the media sensationalizes a story that can be completely told within its 'tagline', it's just insulting to the intelligence of the masses, especially one that everyone could see coming.

Was the big glamorous photoshoot really necessary? Probably not, but these are her first weeks on earth where she's finally seen as the person she truly is (and she's certainly been suffering in the wrong body/identity for long enough), so I understand why she wants to shout it from the rooftops, and in her position of celebrity (whether you think it's deserved or not), why not? Go, Caitlyn!

  • kelili

To be sincere her story doesn't bring any emotion in me. I think that she already had the money to do the surgery and her family is so open. It isn't the case of other people. I wouldn't say that it was easy for her but it was easier because she has the media support, family support and even Obama supports her. She's well surrounded.

It's disempowerment on the most destructive level, giving a fuck about stuff that has absolutely NOTHING to do with your life. "The world you live in is the most immideate sector of your universe, and if youre Worrying about Michael Jackson, or bill Clinton, or somebody else, you're disempowered. You're giving it all away to icons. Icons maintained by an electronic media. So if you wanna dress like 'X' or have lips like 'Y', it's all cultural diversion. But what's real is you, your friends, your relationships, your highs, your lows, your orgasms, your hopes your plans your fears. And we are told we are unimportant, that were peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that' and then you're a player. But you don't wanna play their game anymore. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers that wanna turn you into a half baked moron, consuming all this trash that's beingnmanufactured out of the bones of a dying world" singularity, northlane.

Does anyone understand how complex the female anatomy is? I would first ask: WHO DONATED THE CLITORIS? Or do they claim to have actually manufactured one which I believe is totally impossible. The clitoris is not "just the tip" and not "just a pearl." An erect clitoris is a large organ, mostly internal, that actually rivals the penis in size!!! The glans clitoris ("the pearl") has THOUSANDS of nerve endings for erotic pleasure (TWICE as many nerve endings as the glans penis has. I have either caressed or sucked (or both) the clitorises of nearly all the girlfriends I ever had (TO THEIR UTTER DELIGHT!!!).

I'm not sure if Caitlyn has actually had the genital surgery, but if so what they would have done is work with existing materials, if you know what I mean. Considering how many times you mentioned penises in your description of the clitoris, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

  • LuxM4G

It's irrelevant who he is. The media coverage he received is due to the fact that he's a former Olympic athlete. That makes no difference whatsoever on my mind.

There is no such thing as "transgender people", psychologically they have mental issues, and biological ones. Nonetheless they are free to be whoever they want and do whatever they wish aslong as they obey the law.

    I won't encourage a mental illness though.

There's just something that feels wrong about how we as humans are playing God now. Good for her, I wish her well but it just doesn't sit well with me... somehow.
