C-section explanation

Is it normal that part of my homework was to define what a C-Section is?? (This was geography class).

  • Here's how a C section works:

The doctor stalks into the operating room. He is masked and dressed in white so that the mothers blood makes a beautifully horrifying contrast when it sprays from her stomach.

The doctor is lanky and tanned, with sunken features and dead eyes. He is flanked by two assistants in like dress. Both appearing to be a smashed version of the doctor- short, fat, with sunburned and marred skin.

The mother lies sedated on a table under fluorescent lights.

The doctor approaches the patient and one of the assistants hands him a sharp scalpel. The doctor smirks, and slashes a "C" around the pregnant woman's stomach.

He peals her sagging flesh up.

The babe squeals, suddenly exposed to the blinding lights of the room. The 1st assistant holds an aqua colored tub out. The doctor tears the baby out of his mother's mutilated flesh, who cries, chocking and sputtering on blood.

In a flash of stainless steel, the umbilical cord is severed, and the new life is dropped into the outstretched tub.

The doctor drapes bloody the ruin of fat and skin back over the mother's open womb. Now, the 2nd assistant hands him a stapler. Staple, staple, staple, all around the C shaped slash.

    OPERATION- FLAWLESS VICTORY. VITALITY.

Turn this in for whatever assignment you have. A++ GUARANTEED.

That sounds like that scene from Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life - giving birth". Another favorite is live organ transplants! Haha!

Ok ok. A serious answer to your question:

Sure, it's when the doctors need to cut out the baby, for any number of reasons, so ta-da.

I know it is, but the word was in my native language and when i translated it to English it translated to C-Section, after i had looked it up it gave me images of babies being born manually. Heck even when i looked it up in my native tongue it still gave me the SAME results. I dont see what this had to do with geography, and we were studying Asian countries.

You seem confused or else your teacher is: childbirth has nothing to do with geography unless you were doing the geography of the female body?

Perhaps it was cross section and the OP didn't bother telling that/understand.

Perhaps it's a boring and uninspired troll.
