SO, the baby boomers are shaking in their orthopedic boots right now. As the "Baby boomer killer" came about and is ruining the economy as a side effect, they are worried about their health and their finances.
Of course we are suppose to quarantine and be worried we might pass it on to some old fucker who is vulnerable. We are suppose to be careful and worried and all that.

However, when there is some war, the older generation has NO problem with the youngest adults having to go to some shit country and in best case, live miserably for a while. Worst case is they don't come home alive. Yet no one tries to stop the war nor seems to care.
You might argue "They signed up for it". I say to that, "If you had taken better care of yourself in your younger years, you would have better chances of surviving a virus".

So tell me again why it is okay when young adults have to die but God forbid it be some older group who is already one foot in the grave?

    News today in Britain that a 13 year old boy who was in good health with no underlying medical issues has died of COVID-19. He started having breathing problems last Friday and was admitted to hospital where he tested positive. His condition rapidly declined - as often happens with this virus - and he was put into an induced coma and put on a respirator, but he died on Monday morning.

    The statistics show that us old gits are far more susceptible to this virus and younger people as a rule get through it after, at worst, feeling pretty crap for a few days, but it can kill people of all ages.

    Oh, and BTW, I may be a Boomer, but I've never been blasé about sending the military on foreign adventures just for the sake of some politician's poll numbers or to make sure big business can continue to grind on, not least because I wore a uniform myself for nearly a decade.

    I think there is a select group of "old fuckers" that have fucked over everyone. They bail out Wall Street because that's who owns them. They send our best to idiotic wars for oil and the banking system. There are a lot of boomers who sacrificed for this country and the least young people can do is stay home and play video games for a few weeks. The older generation sacrificed a lot more than a few weeks. Study history and try to get some perspective.

    But they were under even more pressure to go to war than the average young person today, some of them were forced to go to war. No doubt a lot of Vietnam and WWII veterans are dying from this. And this is only a part of the population of baby boomers that you're talking of anyway, they're not all like that. Plus this virus is killing off younger people too. So yeah, this argument is stupid. It sounds like you're just trying to justify your selfish behaviour in going out and putting everyone at risk.

      Yea for reals. Alot of people were drafted back then. We have the advantage of living with nuclear weapons so everyone's to scared to let war get that bad basically. We are kinda lucky we dont overly have to worry about a draft

    First point you are a moron.
    Second point a lot of those old fuckers already went to war when they were young fuckers.
    Third point this is not a war its a global pandemic, you’re probably too thick to know what that means so look it up, I don’t see why I should waste my time explaining it.
    Forth point you will probably live long enough so that one day you are an old fucker, will you still share that opinion of the group you have become part of.

    I agree. Why let the economy go down the toilet so as to not spread the virus to old people. Its not fair that we all suffer just to try and stop old people from catching the virus and dying. Old people, take one for the team!
