Burping while sick

Whenever I have anything related to my upper respiratory system, my stomach gets upset. I start burping a lot, especially after I cough. Is this normal?

    I've been sick for a few days now and I've been burping like crazy... so I hope it's normal lol.

    And no, I haven't been drinking anything besides water.
