Budgie talking to its food

So awhile ago, i had bougth some crappy plastic tree that i bought at a market. Long after, obviously i had found no use to it. Now ive utilized it for my bird and she can sit on the plastic branch/eat from the hole in the tree. Now she has started to talk to the tree. Does she think its alive or something?

    They’ll talk to anything. They need some form of company because they are social animals. That’s why they make those birdcage mirrors.
