Bringing ear plugs on a date, normal?
Once I feel I've heard enough, I put ear plugs in my ears. Actually it's a semi-transparent wax that you can't see. I can still hear her yammering on about whatever nonsense, but if I grind my teeth or hum quietly I can't hear a word.
