You say this assuming that poeple know when they are being munipulated this is not always the case . The key to most poeple when they munipulate others is to not let them know that you are doing it and sometimes if someone is doing this and you can tell you will not always be able to stop it or get out of it . You do not give the munipulator enough credit you act like its a thing you can control you miss the piont of munipulation . You ovbiously have never encountered one of these poeple often when they do this you do not realize they are doing it and if they are good enough and you are able to catch it you still might now be able to get out . You apperently do not know what a mindgame is or how it works and you do not understand human behavior at all .
Of course the possibility that some of us are not stupid enough to keep from putting ourselves in a situation in which our needs would be use against us by someone that is morally corrupt for the purpose of gain, unless we're talking about manipulation on a societal level.
Introspection and analysis of the situation that one is in often remedies the act of manipulation, as well as capacity to make one's own decisions. Unless of course, you refute humanity's ability take such power into their own hands. If that is the case, my pity is yours.
