Theories I've seen say things like blonde is brighter and guys like shiny things, or it's rooted in evolution and blondes are easier to tell if they have disease or are still young (and fertile), or that guys have found blondes to be more approachable from experience, so they go for the availability. If you asked me, I'd say I prefer dark brown hair with blue eyes (like Emilia Clarke), but the last three people I dated for any length of time were all natural blondes. Hmmmmm
