Boyfriend boredom

Ok, I know that this may sound a little corny, but when I get into a serious relationship, after like a couple months I usually start to get bored. I mean, does this mean that I will never find someone that I will always want to be with? Or am I just totally wayyy too insecure?

Yes this is normal. Some people get to this point in a relationship. Try doing something to spice things up. I stopped being excited about being with my partner after about 2 years. We ended up breaking up.

You shouldn't take 'serious' relationships for granted; take the time to talk to your partner and see what you can do to make it work. You'll know you've matured when you get into a big argument with them, and you're still together afterwards, as well.

You might just like the chase of getting a boyfriend, but after you're in a relationship, you're bored.

  • How can it be serious and boring - except seriously boring - and therefore, not a serious relationship?

    TOTALLY normal.
I'm the same. I thought, "Oh i'm too picky."
But then I met someone recently that I fell for immediately. I'm 21 and it's the first time I have such a huge feeling for someone.

Don't worry. You'll meet someone amazing.
Sure, love changes from hot attraction to something else. But if they're the right one for you, you'll evolve with them too.
