    That's the problem I guess. "Image".

    If you kowtow to image then you've already lost the battle.

      By image I meant image of their characteristics, how people see who they are, not only their clothing sense.

        that's what i meant too.

        if you live your life by what the classic "image" of what a man (or woman) should be... then that is perhaps the problem
