Here's what you do. Relax. Sit up straight and centered. Imagine that you are a submarine, and you must deploy a torpedo to destroy an oncoming ship. It is a matter of life and death. Now imagine that the torpedo is dropping out of your anus, and imagine that there is a force going thru your passages to push it out. Don't physically push, mentally push.
It works for me, but I also have mind over fecal matter.
If you can't figure out how to use your mind to push it out, then I also find that if I bend all the way forward (chest touching my knees), then that angle helps the poop come out. Another thing I'll do, is bounce up and down while giving little bursts of pushing. Another thing I've noticed, is that after trying to squeeze the last poop out for ten minutes, if I give up and walk away, then I'll just have to poop again a minute later, and then it will drop right out. So sometime's it's like figuring out a problem, you just have to take a little break and come back to it with a fresh mindset.
Also, don't strain yourself too much, sometimes all you need is to relax a little and just let gravity do the work.
Thank you soomuch for the very helpful advice . Yes it is mind over "fecal matter" I wish I had a strong mind and really let my mind do the action, then I wouldn't have this horrible habit. It really is some mind if sick action. Everyone of us are sick in some different way and it all just comes out in your physical selves sometimes. Sometimes it's. an emotional issue that comes out in my straining. Not being able to really feel like forgiving a person . I mean really forgiving them not just saying in words "I forgave him already " but really knowing how it feels to truly forgive someone ,coming from your heart, someone who wronged you a long time ago as you have almost erased the feeling as it was long ago and I guess never felt how it really feels to forgive a person. If you know what I mean... It can take a lot if guts and compassion for a human being to forgive as we are not saints, as obviously we are not perfect.so it would be easy for me to say I don't know how it feels to forgive as I am just human.ususlly the person would naturally say, why should I forgive him?? After what he did! It's unforgivable! But then I'm always reminded about how important forgiveness is when I go to mass on Sundays.its the feeling of humbling yourselves for someone that has hurt you. Well that was the sermon in my mass today which I thought gave me enlightenment and relief.thxnks for your advise! That is so helpfull ! It's like your advising to retrain the way you use your body.thank you.
