Do whatever you want and wear whatever you want in your private time, but in the office you wear smart office clothes for your gender! Male clothes for men. Female clothes for women. Simple as that. That's how I was taught by my dad. That's how things were at his business. This is how they are in my business and how they will be in the future when I have children and they take over.
Also who wears shorts in the office?! I'm the boss and even I wouldn't wear them at work.
