Borderline | tell your story

I'm looking for people with a bpd who are willing to tell their story. How do you feel/think and how do your relationships go?

I'm also interested in 'normal' peoples brain to help me understand.

Thank you so much

I think my ex had bpd.
She messed with my head too much.

I sometimes wonder if being an INFJ is the same thing.

Why do you think that? I'm an INFJ too.

Just the whole caring about people way too much that you just met. Among other things.

I also want to add that Borderline personality disorder is heavily stigmatized so there's a good chance that you might have a hard time getting people who actually suffer from the personality disorder to come forward. Although you might get a few people complaining that they supposedly knew or dated someone with the disorder.

Narcissists tend to have a thing for Borderlines unfortunately for the Borderlines.

If O.P. or anyone would like to know more about Borderline personality disorder I highly recommend the classic book on the subject 'I Hate You - Don't Leave Me: Understanding the Borderline Personality'
-by Hal Straus and Jerold Jay Kreisman

Maybe it's a creepy narcissist or sociopath who's looking for someone to use as a narcissistic supply.

Yes, after someone in my life mentioned borderline I started reading about it. I'm pretty sure I have it and i'm looking for help.
I like reading other stories about bpd because it's the only time i feel i can relate. I'm also very interested in the human brain etc.
          Thanks for the book tip!

You know, people use that term so freely nowadays it's hard to take it too seriously. Also the term bipolar is too often thrown in general conversation as if it were a mere adjective. That's possibly why I took your post rater mockingly - I apologize, I meant no disrespect. Do you actually agree that you might suffer from BPD? I recommend you look for a professional before self-diagnosing, they might be more helpful than anyone on this site! ;)

Well, it's probably best for you to seek professional help as Lorna Mae said, but also I think you would do well to read as much as you can on the topic.

            You are very welcome!
