Black girl named molly

I just don't think of Molly as a black person. Like you wouldn't think of Guido as a blonde guy from Australia. Certain names are almost never used by certain races, do you know what I mean? Molly is white, maybe with freckles but definitely white. I've also never met a white Tyrese or La Shonda. I'm not being racist am I?

    I was taken aback when I came across a white guy called "Tyrone" because to me "Ty-[anything]" is a black man name.

    And no, never come across a black "Molly" before either. "Molly" is up there with "Rachel", "Becky" and "Jane" for common white girl/woman names.

    I've only ever known one girl named Molly before. Coincidentally (or not so coincidentally, lol), she was very white. She was very spotted with freckles, and she was also very much a red-head too.

    I can't really imagine another race to her name, but maybe if I'd know more girls named Molly in my lifetime, that would be different.

    Though they can be particular sometimes, when it comes down to it, names are just names.

      there's a white man called Tyrone in coronation Street and a white man called Marlon in emmerdale(both English tv shows) . also Tyrone is a county in Ireland, my ma is from there.
