Bitch or just normal?

so my workmate, andy invited me to his 20th birthday party but i don't want to go, not cos i won't know anyone just cos it's a geek party. i mean he is really nice but he's fat & ugly and into dorky stuff & so are his friends. i only like going to parties where there are hot guys that i can flirt with, is this normal or am i a snobby, judgemental bitch?

Ok, Normal that you don't want to go to a place you don't enjoy with people that you don't have anything in common with, however you do seem rather Bitchy in your description of somebody who was kind and thoughtful enough to invite you to something they thought was fun and maybe important to them.

Uh, mean judgemental bitch is my answer. One comment. As you mature hopefully into a woman, it may be that fat geek who saves your life, or eases your mind after another violent tiff with your hot (and aging) man.

  • If you think that way of him then you don't deserve to go to his party.

You'd be considered less of a bitch if you put Andy and his friends in front of yourself and put up with his party even for a little while. Who knows, you might have fun, and it sounds like Andy would really appreciate it if you went, seeing as it doesnt sound like you two have much in common. He probably doesb't expect you to really show up anyway.

I don't like going to places where I feel I won't be able to talk to anyone or relax - but I don't make that decision based on people's appearances. That's just shallow and cruel. Remember: You won't always have your beauty, but who you are on the inside generally remains pretty constant. God forbid that something terrible happens to you, but if it does, you'll quickly find out who your real friends are, and I bet they'll be the "fat and ugly" geek-types.

How do you know it will be a geek party? How terrible of you to judge him and his friends like that. Maybe it would be the best party ever. And who cares if someone is not that attractive, if they are nice to you and have a kind heart? Grow up.

Flip the situations and see how it feels like being rejected like he and the others get.

Problem is you're going to have to spend most of your life around people you don't like. Better practice.
