Lol, I don't think many people get offended by someone using protection. Also, with things like condoms, they're used against STDs. If we were to get rid of condoms, then how exactly are we going to stop the already ridiculous number of people with an STD from growing?
Also, overpopulation is NOT a good thing. I'm sorry, but alien invasions and apocalypses, are you being serious? Also, have you ever considered that some people don't want a family, and removing birth control will just mean more children who are unwanted by their own parents? Removing birth control sounds like the stupidest idea in the world and I'm finding it very difficult to understand why you think this should happen. I'm sorry, but you can't act like overpopulation is something to strive for.
