I take offense equally. I don't like when anyone pokes "fun" at ethnicities in general, not just mine. One summer with friends, we tried coming up with names for biracial people. For instance, one of our friends was Asian and Caucasian so we called her "Wasian". Perhaps, it is because I don't have much of a sense of humor or that I'm just too sensitive but it got to the point where I found myself being emotionally hurt over my term. It was okay and interesting at first but then when it became almost a form of borderline discrimination and the terms replaced our names, it got to be too much.
