You also are using the "Appeal to authority" fallacy in saying because the president cheated that cheating must be okay. There is teachers who have molested students does that automatically make molestation okay?
Authority figures are just people and they all have different personalities and they can screw up. Its cheating if your wife and you have an understanding and she is okay with you seeing other women on the side. If she is not okay with it than yes its cheating.
