Call local law enforcement and ask if they can do a stand by while you get your stuff. They stand by because you are scared of him and you want to leave. If someone was to spit on me I will do all I can to make sure they will know to never again. If he's being secretive and that aggressive when you ask, that's not someone you want to lay down with again. But I bet you have already told him that you love him since he threw you out.
