    I don't know why everyone are being so negative and toxic about your relationship when I don't see how they could know anything about it. It's good that it's ended in a more positive way then a hell of a lot of relationships do. Naturally you're going to be hurt, but I would recommend staying in contact if it's not too painful, if it is then just explain to him, he sounds like he would understand. Look for other people and try to move on, that would be my advice.

        Because he seems nice in the way he's ended it, and I imagine you like him as a person or you wouldn't' have still been going out with him
