I think you know deep down that the best thing for your own sobriety is to stay away from him. If I were in your shoes I don't know if I could leave my best friend behind but thegypsysailor is right. This is a life or death situation for you. I pray that your friend is able to get help himself before it's too late but you can't let that be your burden. Good luck to you!
